IAN HAMILTON FINLAY

A new exhibition of works by Ian Hamilton Finlay opens Saturday at Arnolfini in Bristol this Saturday. The press release calls Finlay a poet, artist and sculpture but "above all a publisher" and notes that the show will focus "on his printed projects", in particular the Wild Hawthorn Press, which he founded in 1961. Alongside Finlay's prints, posters, magazines and other publications, the exhibition will present a series of interventions by contemporary artists Jason Dodge, Christian Flamm, Beatrice Gibson and Will Holder.

The eponymously titled show runs from July 20th to September 8th, 2013.
